Let’s talk ↗VTM roles for the OVL and LAM venues: coordinating technology activities and the people involved in operational delivery.
Operational preparation, cross-team coordination, prioritisation and support during the event.
Clear ownership, communication across stakeholders and attention to continuity of operations.
Professional experience of the team. This does not imply partner, sponsor or official technology supplier status for the event as a whole.
While coordinating technology for OVL and LAM in Livigno during Milano Cortina 2026, our team developed its own tool for planning, progress tracking and readiness checks. It connected the plan, technical information and actual field status.
We linked Technology Equipment Allocation Plan data to locations, workstreams, equipment and tasks. Planned items could be followed through the work required to deliver them.
We tracked rack readiness, transport, power, UPS, fibre, cabling, access points and other equipment. Open work and completion were visible by area.
Daily checklists and checks before competition sessions supported readiness verification. Findings became tasks with priorities and ownership.
During the Games we maintained visibility across work status, checks and open items. Daily reporting supported handovers and coordination of the next actions.
Connected information and daily reports gave TOC visibility into completed work, outstanding items and points requiring decisions or coordination.
The same task and ownership approach supported dismantling and closure of technology operations. Information remained linked to the relevant location and activity.
A planned TEAP item → location and workstream → assigned task → execution check → updated status and daily report. Completion could be understood in context rather than through isolated lists.
We bring this Livigno experience into other projects: purpose-built software where it helps coordination, clear ownership and readiness checked in real operations.
From the objective to operational handover.
